About Ola
Ola is a beautiful girl, both inside and out. She has wonderful social skills and is friends with everyone and every dog that she meets! Ola is a real smoocher and loves cuddles, belly rubs and lots of pats. She greets everyone with a waggy tail, no matter their size, and is super sweet. Ola is a playful character who enjoys doing zoomies in the yard and loves to play with her rope toy or stuffed monkey. She also enjoys soaking up the rays while sunbaking. At the end of the day, her biggest joy is to snuggle on the couch or lie in bed with her humans. Ola is such a loyal loving girl and would make a wonderful addition to a family where she can share her love with everyone.
Ola’s friendliness extends to other dogs. She is happy to greet and make friends with other dogs she passes when out walking. Ola would love a home with another friendly dog who can be a playmate and companion for her. She thoroughly enjoys getting out for a good daily walk, currently about 60 minutes each afternoon, and also having playtime in the yard with her toys. Ola is medium in size (currently 21kg) and her lean muscular build with beautiful chocolate coloured coat turns heads wherever she goes.
While in foster care, Ola has brushed up on her basic training. She sits on command, walks well on lead and is toilet trained. She has had an introduction to crate training and is happy to sleep in her open crate in a separate part of the house by herself – though we know she’d happily share your bed! When at the pound, the rangers reported that she did not show any signs of separation anxiety when in her run or the office by herself. In her foster home, she has had the luxury of having her foster carers around all of the time and has not had the opportunity to practise the skills of being left alone. She will require someone who is willing to re-establish good habits with training and build her independence as she is now showing some signs of separation anxiety. Ola is food motivated, smart and always eager to please and learn. She also travels well in the car, so loves to accompany you on adventures and outings.
We are looking for a dog experienced home where Ola will be a part of the family and included in all the fun. It will be a bonus if you have previous staffy/bull breed experience. She will need a home with another playful and friendly dog to keep her company and/or where someone is home most of the time and able to build her independence gradually before leaving her for shorter periods of time. Ola should be allowed inside to be with the family and will need a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night. She is fine to live with dog savvy kids who are used to playful dogs her size and after walking through the cattery at the pound we think she may be ok to live with dog savvy cats with the right introductions and training. Ola is a loving and loyal dog who will be a wonderful companion to her new owners.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
