Treecko is a sweet natured young guy who is looking for his forever family who will welcome him into their home & will include him in their activities.

With the combination of Cattle Dog & Kelpie, he will require plenty of daily exercise along with bucketloads of mental stimulation: Kongs, puzzle toys, long lasting chews & bones. Never underestimate the joy a dog can get from a cardboard box stuffed with paper & hidden treats!

As a pup, he still has a lot to learn, but with consistent gentle guidance & positive reinforcement training he will be a terrific young lad. He would love to be able to live indoors with his new family as he really enjoys the company of people & will soak up all the love you can give. Puppies have a tendency to explore with their mouths & they love to jump up at human faces (that is where all the action is!)- this is very normal puppy behaviour. Redirecting them to suitable toys works very well to discourage this.

Treecko is fun, affectionate & playful but life in the shelter can get pretty lonely sometimes & he is really hoping for a family he can call his very own very soon.

He would be very happy to meet the current dog in your life if you have one & we are open to families with children as long as the kids are dog-savvy & are respectful of a dog's needs.

Secure fencing to keep him safe & a high quality diet to keep him healthy are both essential..

Treecko's adoption price is $350 which includes his desexing, microchip, health check, vaccination as well as up-to-date flea & worm treatments.
