About Riley
Gorgeous Riley can come across as shy, but don’t be fooled, she absolutely loves pats and thrives off attention.
When it comes to learning the ropes on how to be a pet Riley is taking everything in her stride! She learns very quickly and is very smart. Every day Riley shows improvement with her recall and commands like “bed”, “up” and “down” and “leave it”.
Riley has been in a home with 3 other dogs. While she doesn’t appear to rely on them too much, she has not been tested in a home as the only dog.
She has adapted very quickly to toilet training and is now independently using the dog door to take herself out when required.
Riley walks very well on the lead. She doesn’t pull, so can be walked with ease in just her martingale collar, she likes staying with you. She is respectful with doorways and gateways both in the home and out, and on or off lead. She is also very respectful with other dogs and humans when out on walks.
Riley is quiet in the home. She does not bark except for the odd one when playing. She enjoys going for a morning walk and then snoozing for the remainder of the day. She has not been boisterous, destructive or displayed any undesirable behaviours. Riley has mastered walking up and down stairs.
Riley has been to the local dog park and has shown no prey drive. She enjoys running with the other dogs. She can get a bit excited, especially with the little ones but she is improving each time she goes out.
Riley has shown no signs of sleep startle, food aggression or resource guarding. Riley has not been tested with children however she is a not fussy about who gives her a pat at the local park!
