Gracie

Meet the intelligent, gentle, talkative Gracie. Gracie loves to talk to you all the time, she will greet you with a wagging tail and her sweet voice, she also loves to tell you when she has a toy lol Don’t confuse when I say talk as a bark because it is so much cuter . If you copy her talking voice to her she will automatically talk back. She's the cutest little girl.

Gracie is a Shorter stocky Mastiff x and based on her stocky little build we feel she will be a med size girl at full growth.

This amazing girl will make a wonderful family addition

Food

Gracie is currently eating twice a day and is fed premium dry food #Savourlife puppy food . She also loves to have boiled chicken as a treat and we use this when training her. Gracie shows no signs of food aggression with other dogs or humans and will take food gently from your hand.

Sleeping

Gracie has been sleeping indoors. She will choose to sleep in either her open crate or a dog bed. Gracie will sleep from 9pm and not get up until you do. During the day she will choose to wait for her lay out in the sun or inside.

Walk/training/ toileting/car

Gracie has started going for short walks and loves exploring the neighborhood . She loves going for daily short walks and the length of the walk needed will increase if she grows. Gracie will require further lead training.

Gracie will sit and stay when asked. She will come when you call her name. Gracie will need to attend puppy school/obedience training to further her training and also for socialization. Gracie is fully toilet trained but in new surroundings we expect Gracie to have a few accidents until she is comfortable with her surroundings. If you do not have a doggy door you will need to leave a Backdoor open for her.

Gracie has been in the car many times and loves a good car ride. We use a seatbelt harness with her and she will lay down and enjoy the car ride.

Indoor/outdoor/ obedience

Gracie is an overall amazing dog who I really can not fault. If you tell her no she will listen. While indoors Gracie will play with the other dogs, humans and toys. She is yet to chew on anything that isn’t a toy. Outdoors Gracie loves to run and play with the other dogs in the house. She will also just lay out in the sun for a nap.

Gracie did arrive with a skin allergy the vet felt was just a season thing and has been treated with Cytopoint injection which has cleared the itch up immediately

Dogs/cats

Gracie has been living with many dogs of all ages and sizes. Gracie absolutely loves the other dogs and this is why we will be seeking a home for Gracie with another dog (resident dogs will need to be male as we do not have a home of the same sex) and must be well socialized.

Gracie has been around cats and had no issues. Your cat must be a social dog.

Children

Gracie is amazing with young kids and teenagers. She does not get mouthy. If you have young children we would be seeking a home with dog experienced kids.

Enrichment

Gracie loves digging in the outdoor sandpit and dipping her feet in the dog pool. Gracie loves all toys and spends most of her day playing with the other dogs.

Ideal Home

Gracie is a very special girl, who is just so gentle and loving. We would like for her new home to make her part of the family, take her places (beach, camping etc). Not discouraged from talking. Gracie will love you like no other if you treat her right.

Adoption Requirements for Gracie

- decent size backyard with grass, shade and secure fences for Gracie to run and play on

- daily walks

- Gracie would need to attend puppy school/ obedience training for both training and for socialization

- A home with a male dog who is well socialized and desexed

- kids over 5 who have dog experience.

- Gracie must be able to be an inside/outside dog and be able to sleep indoors
