Thimble is a sporty shorthair with a big heart. Gentle and sweet, he is never happier than when he sees his people.

Although he’s still a pup, and has some growing to do, he already has the temperament of an adult dog, calm and restful, but also responsive to activity. He is already a good walker, but will probably require training to learn good exercise routines.

Thimble currently shares a home with two adult humans and two children (2 & 5) and has been amazing towards them. His curiosity for younger children may be a bit intense for them and may be upsetting, so supervision with children will be a must, as for all dogs.

He also shares his space with four siblings, and exhibits typical pack behaviour, including rough play and dominance. This tendency may subside if he’s paired with a non-sibling dog.

He seems pretty well house-trained, but may need more training in this area. Outdoors, he’s inquisitive and likes digging.

Overall, Thimble is a soulful ball of energy, who may be best suited to a home with good outdoor space with a good disciplined ethic.
