About Ox
*** URGENT FOSTER CARER REQUIRED ****
Hi, my name is Ox. I am a stunning bully boy that has lead a very sheltered outdoor life living in country Victoria.
Ox has surprised us since being in care with his emergency foster carers. He is fantastic to walk on leash but strong. Ox has a little bounce to his walk. and is ever so happy when out walking. Ox is reactive when he sees other dogs but is walked with a muzzle and is redirected and continues on with his walks.
Ox loves his crate. He sleeps with the door open at night and sleeps the full night through. Ox is vocal, and he tells you when he needs to go to the toilet but he still sometimes likes to leave a surprise (Ox has only been in care for 4 days and was previously only an outside dog)
Ox craves his foster carers attention and has to be always close by and checking up on you.
Ox is very food motivated and loves his treats and he travels well in the car.
Ox need a foster family that will teach him what it is like to live like part of the family and in return he will give you the best cuddles you have ever had.
He needs you to show him how to live inside and how to sleep on the couch and on your bed or on his own bed. He wants to learn to play ball and Frisbee with you in the backyard. He just wants to follow you around and be with you.
Ox has had bad experiences with dogs before so no dogs pleas and no other animals, no cats, no birds, no chickens as he chases them.
Ox has had very limited time around children so kids that are bully savvy above 10 years old will be ok as he does tend to jump when excited.
But please remember Ox is very eager to please his humans very very much so please if you want a new family member please foster Ox, cause I promise you, you will fall in love with Ox and adopt him.
Medical notes
Ox has recently came into our care.
He has just been desexed.
He has two infected ears and terrible skin infections.

Adoption details
VBTR places all dogs in a foster care agreement, before moving forward on adoptions. All foster applications received will be assessed and those that meet the needs of the dog will have house & suitability checks. From there, approved applicants will have the opportunity to foster with a view to adopt. Most go onto be ‘foster fails’ and adopt these beautiful bullies. VBTR work tirelessly to ensure successful foster to adopt placements for the benefit of both dogs and humans alike! Bully Buddies are assigned to every dog support this process.
