About Cruise
Mr Cruise is super handsome! He has a stunning tan coat and gorgeous eyes that you just can’t help but fall in love with. Once you meet him you discover that his temperament is just as fantastic as his looks – he is Cruise by name and by nature! He is an affectionate dog who loves a good cuddle. Cruise is more than happy to meet new people and make them his new friends, particularly if they are offering some good pats as well! Cruise is an easy-going character who is relatively low maintenance and currently weighing in at just 24kg. He is very calm around the home, particularly inside, and is well mannered out and about. Cruise is the type of dog who will slot into your home like he’s always been there.
During his time in care, both with us and at the rural NSW facility he came from, Cruise has been social and friendly with all the dogs he has met. When matched with a similarly sized and playful dog, he loves to jump around and do lots of play bowing in order to temp the other dog into a good game. Cruise is currently living with another dog in his foster home. They get along well and are fine when left at home alone together. Cruise will need to be given a good daily walk and some regular socialisation with other suitable playmates to keep him healthy and happy throughout his life.
Cruise is a well-mannered dog who is brushing up on his basic training in his foster home. He can sit, drop (lie down) and walk well on a lead. Currently, his foster carer is working on his recall, stay and crate training. Cruise was a stray in far western NSW and had to scavenge for food, so he wasn’t a fan of eating his dinner in front of another dog. Often this disappears with time; however, it is easily managed by just feeding him separately as he is fine to share toys and treats, etc. with other dogs. Cruise is good when left home alone hanging out with the other dog in his foster home, and he has not displayed any destructive behaviours in the house or yard.
We are looking for a dog experienced home for Cruise where he will be a part of the family and included in the daily activities and outings. He would love a home with another friendly dog to be a companion, but he would also be fine as an only dog if he can get lots of love, fun and company from his people. Cruise should be allowed inside to be with the family and will need a warm comfy bed to sleep on inside at night. He will be fine to live with dog savvy children comfortable with a dog his size. Cruise will make a wonderful family dog or best mate who could enjoy all the activities with you but also the cuddle time as well.
If you would like to make this beautiful boy a part of your family, then please complete a Dog Adoption Enquiry form on the Fetching Dogs website as the first step. Please give us plenty of details so we can get to know you and the type of lifestyle he would have with you.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
