About Ripcurl
The sweet playful Ripcurl is looking for her forever home. She has a gorgeous brindle coat which is super soft to pat when she cuddles up next to you.
Ripcurl is very loving with her foster mum and will seek her out for attention and cuddles throughout the day.
She also loves visitors that come over and will happily have a cuddle with them too after a few minutes. Watch out though as she will nibble on their toes or scratch as she jumps up.
She should be fine with children in her new home as long as they are mature, can respect puppy boundaries and understand pups need sleep.

Baby Ripcurls Mum we know is a Wolfhound x of Med size and her Daddy is either a Golden Retriever or a Red Heeler !! The ranger from the pound was informed both of these breeds had a playdate with mummy !!!!!!!
Currently weighing in at 6 kilos, she one of the smallest we expect her to grow to a larger med
Ripcurl is in foster care with her foster carerâs small female dog. She absolutely loves to play with her and will spend all of her waking hours running around chasing and wrestling.
She is a super sweet girl who loves to be around people
FAVOURITE THINGS
Ripcurlâs favourite thing is to play with other dogs wrestling or playing chasey, or play with toys.
She loves to chew and play tug of war with a range of toys (balls, soft toys, ropes, plastic rings etc).
OBEDIENCE/TRAINING
Ripcurl travels well in the car.
She is learning her sit command and understand uh-uh and good girl.
She will benefit from puppy school and ongoing obedience training.
ANIMAL SOCIAL SKILLS
Ripcurl loves other dogs. She plays well with her two year old foster sister.
She has had a sleepover with other bigger dogs and interacted well with them too.
Ripcurl would love to have another dog in her new home. They should be male, medium to large size, well socialised and tolerant of typical puppy behaviour.
Dog-savvy cats should also be okay.
FOOD
Ripcurl eats 3 meals a day and absolutely loves her food. She gets super excited when her food is getting scooped into her bowl. She will finish it all quite quickly.
She is eating Savour Life puppy food.
INDEPENDENCE
Ripcurl has spent time left at home completely alone and also with the resident dog. She is happy either way and will play with toys or sleep.
HYGIENE
Ripcurl has a soft easy to care for coat. We havenât noticed much shedding yet. She doesnât particularly like having a bath but is quick to wash and towel dry.
SLEEPING
Ripcurl slept in a covered crate in the lounge room for the first few weeks in foster care but more recently has been sleeping in her foster mums room at night.
She spends time in her crate throughout the day and in the evenings. As a pup she needs around 18 hours sleep per day. She will usually get up once during the night to toilet (this has decreased from several times a night).
EXERCISE
Ripcurl hasnât had enough vaccinations to go out on a walk yet. When she is old enough she will need at least one decent walk per day. She should also have a backyard with plenty of room to run around and explore.
INSIDE THE HOME
Ripcurl spends most of her time indoors at her foster home. As a puppy she gets into absolutely everything that she can so her new family should make sure to puppy proof all areas she will have access to. She will chew anything she can get her sharp little puppy teeth on!
She loves to be around people and should be welcome inside her new home to be part of the family and not just a backyard ornament.
She canât jump on the furniture yet so this will be something her new family can set rules from the beginning on as she gets bigger.
Her toilet training is improving and she is having less accidents inside. She knows how to use the dog door and will sometimes take herself out. Her foster mum encourages her to go out before bed and when she wakes up, after eating or having a big drink, and every few hours in between if she hasnât taken herself out already.
IDEAL HOME
A med to large yard with shade and shelter and secure fencing
If there is another dog they should be male, medium to large size, well and recently socialised, desexed, and tolerant of puppy behaviours.
She should be welcomed and be part of the family and not constantly left outside alone.
Kids would be okay if they are mature and dog savvy. Ripcurl is very mouthy and can nip with sharp teeth. Kids should also understand she needs sleep and to be left alone for 18 hours a day while she is young.
Ripcurl should be taken to puppy school and will need training at home to continue becoming a good girl. She should also be socialised with other dogs once she has all of her vaccinations.
She will require at least one walk a day once she is old enough for the rest of her life. She also needs a medium to large size yard with grass and shelter.
Ripcurl is such a stunning girl with a gorgeous personality and will be a wonderful addition to an amazing home.
