About Millie
Lovely Millie has had a lot to deal with recently. She was dumped by her previous owner & has ended up in our shelter where we are committed to finding her a home where she is loved, safe & secure.
She is a super affectionate girl who loves nothing more than spending time with her favourite people. Understandably, she can be prone to some anxiety & can, at times bit a bit wary of new situations, places & people. She can also experience some separation distress & would prefer someone at home more often than not.
She needs someone who can provide her with a calm, stable, loving home & she will form a very strong bond when given gentle reassurance & lots of affection. She will need time to settle into new routines.
She is learning to walk nicely on her harness but she can be a strong puller at times, so a solid commitment to her ongoing positive reinforcement training is needed.
She is playful & has lovely focus. Both play & training are very enriching activities for dogs & are just as important as their daily walks.
She has made a lot of doggy friends at the shelter & my well be able to co-habit with a suitable canine companion, preferably male. A meet & greet would be required.
Millie needs to be allowed indoors to live with her new family. Backyard living will not suit this gorgeous girl. A home with older kids would be preferable as she can feel overwhelmed with too much chaos.
This lovely girl is patiently waiting for her time to shine.
Millie's adoption fee is $350 which includes her desexing, health check & microchip as well as up-to-date vaccinations, flea & worm treatments.
