About Morning Rise
Morning Rise is a sweet, distinguished older gentleman searching for a loving retirement home.
He LOVES having a nice lap to sit on, and especially loves having perches in front of the window so he can watch the world go by from a safe and sunny nook.
As you can see, he has the most GLORIOUS fur! Being a senior boy, he does suffer from arthritis which means he needs some extra help keeping his coat brushed and knot free! He quite enjoys his gentle brushing time, and this will be a lovely daily bonding experience between him and his future human.
Morning Rise is looking for a quiet and relaxed home where he can retire and spend his all his time doing his favourite things – getting cuddles and taking naps.
He would prefer any children in the home be older and able to respect his boundaries. He doesn’t care other cats and would ideally prefer to be the only kitty in his forever home – but may be happy to make exceptions for fellow senior animals who prefer to keep to themselves and don’t mind that he will want all his human’s attention to himself!
Due to some sun damage, he has had to have a small skin cancer removed from his ear. It is vitally important that Morning Rise is an indoor only cat to prevent him from getting future skin cancers.
He is a very special boy with a few medical quirks, so we have created a special AAPS Assist program just for him that will help support his future family with more affordable vet care to keep him healthy and happy in his retirement years.
