Tater

Hi, I'm Tater, short for Potater.

I have not experienced much in my short 9 months and need a lot of extra guidance to help me become a confident young man. Although I am very timid, the staff here at Second Chance have described me as an adorable little potato, hence my name!

I will need a home with a decent sized yard, so I can very slowly build my confidence at home before having to be walked before I am ready. A confident female dog would be ideal, as I haven't lived without another dog and gain most of my confidence through a canine friend. I do like to rough and tumble play though, so I'd hope my new friend would be the same.

While the world is very overwhelming to me at the moment, I adore the company of humans and am quickly learning that people will show me love and admiration. I would be best in an adult only home while I am still learning the ins and outs of a relationship with humans.

In summary, my ideal home would include;
- Adults only
- Large backyard in a quieter area
- A confident female dog who likes to play

If you are interested in meeting this pet, please call us first to make sure they are still available. You can meet dogs housed on site at SCAR between 9am-4pm Tuesday-Friday. We can only facilitate greets on a weekend with an appointment, so please call during the week or send in an application via Pet Rescue if you would like to come in on a Saturday.
