About Leyla
** Leyla has tested positive to E.canis and has been placed on a 28 day course of anti-biotics to treat the symptoms**
It recommended by DPIRD that all dogs being moved into, out of, within northern WA, or areas where E. canis may be active are:
* not showing any signs of E. canis
* treated with a registered tick product effective in the prevention of the brown dog tick
* taken to a veterinarian if they begin showing signs of fever, lethargy or weakness, bleeding or bruising, not eating or weight loss.
Hi! I'm Leyla, pleased to meet you.
I was found wandering around in the middle of nowhere, all on my own, looking a bit lost. A kind person picked me up and brought me to Broome. That's when SAFE started helping me. I've been in foster care for a while now and I'm feeling ready to get back out into the big wide world and try to find myself a family! I'm a beautiful girl who loves hanging out at the beach. Have you got room for me in your heart and home?
