About Katya
Hi I’m Katya, my siblings and I make up the Drag Queen Litter, we came into care after being saved from a regional pound.
I get along great with my siblings and as I am deaf I will absolutely need another cat in my new home. This is extremely important as we will be able to communicate with each other in ways humans cannot. The cat with hearing can teach me proper cat routines.
Its believed I would be fine with dogs, I will just need regular interactions for me to be comfortable around them.
I would love a home with children, I am quite sweet and gentle, so it’s believed I would be okay as long as they weren't too rough and understanding that I can’t hear them.
I adore any and everybody I meet, as long as you give me pats, I’m your friend. Being that I am deaf, I tend to talk quite loudly and more often then most cats as I can’t tell how loud I am being.
I like playing with all kinds of toys, anything and everything I can get my paws on. Feathers are a bonus, and I love the roller ball toy.
I am doing great with my toileting, but I also likes to scratch it everywhere so may need a deeper tray to avoid this.

Please ensure all corresponding documentation, such as vet work for existing animals & lease agreements are provided with the completed application to avoid any delays
Applications are not approved on a first in, best dressed basis, rather we will assess on your suitability. Should we believe that the animal you have applied for may not suit your home or lifestyle, we will work with you until we find your perfect match.
Upon approval of your application, we will pass your contact details onto the carer and they will liaise with you to arrange a meet & handover. Prior to the handover, an adoption contract will be emailed to you along with copies of vet work & our bank details. The signed adoption agreement & payment of the adoption fee is required prior to the animal leaving with you. We offer a two-week trial period, and the full adoption fee, minus an administration fee will be refundable if the adoption is cancelled within those two weeks.
