About Fiver
Fivers what I'm known as these days, but I used to be called all sorts of things by the bully rabbit whom I was forced to share a home with..
Fuzzy bum, big ears, Snow white, and snookum's were often derogatory terms he threw in my direction, all whilst pulling at my ears, tripping me up with his feet that were bigger than mine and generally being mean.
As a result, I'm looking for a home where I can have my own rabbit apartment and not be forced to share. Looking for a new owner whom can get past my tattered ears and scars and one one that is willing to show me all the love and care that my little fluffy heart desires.
I'm certainly a lover not a fighter and want nothing more than to receive your attention, scratches, pats, gentle cuddles and lots and lots of yummy rabbit treats.
I would make a fantastic inside rabbit, being all white, I'm not one who likes to sunbath very often and like all my fur coat wearing counterparts - overheat in extreme heat. If allowed inside and free to safely roam, I would quickly learn how to use a litter tray and provide you with hours of entertainment with my cute bunny antics. I'm not apposed to a large and expansive rabbit hutch with all the mod cons to live in either.
Rabbits like me make wonderful pets, we prefer older children in the home and aren't always fans of being picked up, however if held correctly and secure I don't mind the odd cuddle.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
