For a dog so young, Cleo has already experienced more change than most. Having been surrendered twice through no fault of her own, it's understandable that her confidence took some time to grow.

But our girl Cleo has come such a long way! The shy dog we first met has grown into a calm, confident companion who is almost unshakeable. She takes the world in her stride now and is an absolute pleasure to spend time with.

Once Cleo feels comfortable, her affectionate and quirky personality really comes out. She loves exploring the yard, sniffing out all the best smells and rolling happily in them. She's also a big fan of water! And to top it all off, Cleo has the cutest bunny hop in the business- it's guaranteed to make your day every time you see it.

Cleo takes a little time to find her people and isn't a fan of jumping straight into cuddles with new faces. Because of this, she would be best suited to a home with secondary school-aged children or older who can understand dog body language and respect her space while she builds trust and settles in.

She may also be able to live with another calm dog, as long as they understand that Cleo is looking for a relaxed companion rather than a high-energy playmate. Please bring any resident dogs along for the meet and greet!

All Cleo has ever really needed is someone willing to see the beautiful dog she is and give her the stability she's been missing.
