About Peppa
Hi! I'm Peppa and I'm looking for a new family to call my own.
APPLICATION PROCESS APPLIES FOR PEPPA
PLEASE COMPLETE THE BELOW APPLICATION FORM
https://forms.gle/4rgT7cSBf8ETKMAG7
NOTE: You are unable to meet Peppa until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Peppa in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.
What I need in my new home:
• BREED KNOWLEDGE IS PREFERRED
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• I MUST be allowed inside with my family
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• I can be shy at first so I need a family who'll allow me to grow in confidence in my own time
• Being an active breed I have a lot of energy so an active family is a must!
• I like both friendly male and female dogs.
• I appeared scared of cats when meeting them at the shelter however once my confidence around them grows I might be more inquisitive. If going to a home with a cat they must be dog savvy and we must be introduced slowly.
• A playful doggie companion is a HIGHLY recommended to keep me company when my family isn't home or a family that is home all the time. I suffer from separation anxiety which results in escaping behaviours to find company.
• TRAINING TRAINING TRAINING. It's ESSENTIAL I receive training in all aspects of my life so I can be the best dog I can be.
•
Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
My best features:
• Very playful
• Wiggle butt
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs
• Social butterfly
• I appear housetrained
• Exuberant & full of beans
Where I need to improve / Training required
• I will require basic training as I've had little training experience yet
• I may show signs of anxiety when I'm left alone in the backyard.
• I do walk quite well on the lead once settled, however I can pull if something interests me and can be quite skittish if startled so walking in a harness is recommended
