* Dori is an extremely affectionate and playful kitten who loves human company and will often be found sleeping on beds or next to foster carers.
* She doesn't like being left alone for too long during the day and would suit a home with another pet to act as a mentor/ friend when the house is quiet.
* During the night Dori loves snuggling in the bed next to the foster carers and will often try and find a hand to touch.
* Dori is litter trained, clean and loves both wet and dry food, even enjoying a treat of kitten milk during the day.
* She enjoys sitting and watching TV or movies on the bed with the carers, and also enjoys playing fishy games on the tablets.
* Dori has experienced life with dogs and young children and would be suited for a home where someone is home more often and where she won't be left alone for more than 5 hours.
NOTE: Dori has received her first 2 kitten vaccinations and microchip. The adoption fee also covers her sterilisation at the age of 6 months which can be done at a vet clinic in Busselton, Vasse or Bunbury. Dori's 3rd vaccination is due on 4th February 2023 and is not covered in her adoption fee.

SAFE Busselton requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices. As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together. Information on cat enclosures can be found here: https://safe.org.au/catios
SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on ""best fit"" for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
