About Cherry
Cherry is a gorgeous 3 year 10 month old British Bulldog looking for her forever home.
Cherry came into care a few months ago with her brother, both with some serious health issues – they had fly blown ears and sores as well as a large hernia and finger nails that could scare Freddy Kruger!
The rescue has taken their time making sure that my ears are good as they can be, my skin is all healed up and a ‘manicure’ and of course my hernia was fixed when I was desexed (making sure there was no way I could have any more babies)
Cherry is extremely submissive and is currently in care with another beautiful male British bulldog who has been teaching her confidence and giving her a chance to shine.
Cherry while young is a little old lady who loves nothing more than to snuggle on her humans laps for hours and hours. Cherry is a snuggle bunny!
Cherry will be her humans shadow she would happily be with you 24/7 - she does not have separation anxiety - she just loves to snuggle. Cherry is always curious and will follow you wherever you go, she will do a little prance as she tries to keep up with you on those little legs of hers.
Cherry would love to have a life where someone is home more often than not, retired or works from home so she can hang out with them, she loves keeping her humans company and at the end of the day having a good cuddle on the couch.
Cherry can be very timid and is a gentle girl who once confident and settled in her new home enjoys playing with her foster fur sibling and the skin kids!
Cherry loves to go for a walk now and loves beach days.
Cherry is untested with cats.
Cherry is toilet trained
Cherry is happy with the other fur siblings she is with but obviously would prefer a house where there is some quiet and plenty of cuddle times.
Cherry bonds very quickly with her humans, is extremely affectionate and loving and just wants to be part of the family.
Cherry will also need to be able to have access inside 24/7 due to her breed and air conditioning
If you have a quiet calm home and looking for an absolute snuggle bunny please apply

All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.

Please Note: We do not hold any animals so please only apply if you are ready to adopt now
Please note - We don't take calls on adoption enquiries - an application must be completed

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
