About Ivy
Let us introduce this beautiful girl called Ivy. She’s a tripod Bull Arab X born 3/9/18. Her rear left leg was amputated when she was a 3 month old puppy.
Now don't let her being a tripod fool you… She is full of energy, will play tug of war and fetch until she runs out of puff.
Good with older children, can knock little ones over due to her size. She doesn’t like other female dogs but gets along with male dogs. She has been an only dog along with 2 kittens since being in foster care.
She isn't an escape artist or a nuisance barker. She sometimes talks to the dog next door and will let you know if there’s strangers about. Apart from that you wouldn't know she was there (feedback from foster carer’s neighbours).
Ivy doesn't require lots of long walks as she tires easily but definitely enjoys getting out and about.
She is an outside dog who likes being inside laying next to your feet while you relax on the couch.
Knows commands sit, shake, go to bed and lay down. She is keen to learn if treats are involved.
Ivy has lots of love to give and will make a nice addition to her new household.

ADFC house our dogs with volunteer foster carers in private homes.
They are given basic training and experience life in family situations with dogs, cats, children and various other domestic animals.
We then have an opportunity to discover their traits and personalities, likes and dislikes, and which dog may suit your family dynamics.
We offer a 14 day trial - $50 deposit. If the dog doesn't fit with your family, they are returned to us and deposit refunded.
To arrange a meet and greet with one of our dogs please send us a message.
The committee and carers of ADFC are all volunteers, so please be patient if we don't answer your enquiry straight away.
