About Chuck (Charlie)
Charlie is a gentle and loving pup who loves nothing more than spending time with his humans. He is an expert napper, spending the majority of his day snoozing on the couch or his bed and occasionally getting up to switch locations. But don't let that fool you - Charlie loves to play and can often be found happily chasing after his favourite toys. He is also very food motivated, which means he will counter surf if human foods are left unattended. His forever home will have to be mindful of this and keep things out of his reach!
Charlie has struggled with some separation anxiety while in foster care, but he is slowly learning that he is okay when left alone. His new home will ideally be around more often than not and be able to continue this learning with Chuck as he settles in.
Charlie has also been reactive to other dogs while in foster care. He has been introduced slowly to some other dogs but will need support from his new family to continue to learn better social skills while around other dogs. Charlie could live with another greyhound, pending introductions but would not be suited to a home with other breeds of dog.
Charlie is gentle and easy going, making him a perfect companion for any home. He loves nothing more than being close to his humans and showing them love, always ready for a cuddle or two. If you're looking for a loyal companion, Charlie is your man!
