Harper - 1 Year Old Bull Arab X (On Trial)

Harper is approx. 12-14 months. She has a quiet, sweet natured & loveable personality. She loves her humans. She loves to eat, sleep and play… with a serving of extra-long cuddles.

She is smart and is responding well to learning new commands. Her foster carer has not had to toilet train her she goes straight outside when she needs to go and holds until she can go outside. She sleeps through the night and has been sleeping inside at her foster carer's place. Her previous carer said she slept outside their place with no problems.

Harper is responding to training. She is shy (will walk away with her head down) when meeting new people. But comes around quickly when she feels safe.

The only history DRN has on Harper is that she was picked up wandering the streets. She was not microchipped. She then spent a few months in the pound until coming into the DRN service.

She has beautiful tan markings on her face, being a Bull Arab, she could be a combination of a (Pointer, Grey Hound & Labrador mix) Pointer (definitely her face), grey hound (back end) and Lab (similar in size, will eat anything and her beautiful gentle temperament).

Harper is proving to be easy to train. The couple of training techniques that have been introduced she has understood and acted accordingly. It appears she has been socialised and once she is comfortable (after she has meet everyone), she really enjoys it. Harper is also good with cats.

She has been in the car with no issues. She does not react to cars driving by the yard at her foster carer's place. She is also very friendly to the people walking by, and her foster carers have not heard her bark at all.

Harper’s ideal home:
-A good size backyard and she is welcomed into the family home.
- She would be ok as an only dog.However, if the family works outside the home, it would be nice for her to have a fur sibling.
- A safe warm place to sleep at night
- An active family where she gets lots of walks
- And of course, couch cuddles.
