ABOUT
Rory is an 8-year-old male Chinchilla who was surrendered to a vet clinic after his owner passed away. His coat was very matted and painful, so he needed the affected areas to be shaved under sedation.
Even though this poor handsome man had a huge amount of upheaval overnight, once he had his painful matting removed and found a nice quiet safe place at his carer’s house, this sweetheart showed his loving, gentle personality.
He loves playing with toys and will chase anything that you can wiggle or throw.
He is a clever and curious boy and loves to open cupboard doors to see what is inside.
While not a lap cat or a fan of being picked up, he does love being near his human/s and receiving pats. He will roll over onto his back to accept belly rubs and make biscuits in the air.
Rory is very sensitive to noise so needs a relaxed, quite home with lots of safe places that he can hide in to get away from things. As he has a long coat, he requires daily grooming to keep it in good order.
Don't let that serious face fool you, Rory is a total smooch but wants you to find that out for yourself!
