Scooter (ex Gigi)

Gigi is a sweet gentle shy young girl who has sadly missed out on a few early life experiences. Her new owner will need to take their time to build a relationship with her to help her feel safe. Once they have built trust, she will look to them for reassurance and guidance. She does like to play with soft toys and has a cheeky side once she warms up and feels safe. Gigi loves food which will be a great way to help her settle in, build a strong bond and relationship with her new owner. It is highly recommended that Gigi be offered a crate/den area that she can go to if feeling overwhelmed/unsure. Gigi is best suited to a home with calm older teens and if there is another dog in the home she must meet him at time of adoption - recommend social and not overly pushy older dog as she was very worried during dog meets during her Behaviour Assessment.
