Hello world, Magpie Lark here! I am an adorable cat who came into care with my kitten kiddos - they've all found new homes, so now it's my turn! I am a sweet, affectionate and loving cat and the adoptions team said that my new family will be thrilled with my catpanionship and gentle disposition. I am FIV+ which means I will need a family who has done their research on this condition but generally our recommendations are:
1. I cannot go home with unvaccinated FIV-negative cats; these cats will be at risk of contracting FIV.
2. I MUST be kept indoors or in a secure enclosure, such as a Catmax. This will protect me from contracting other infections and prevent me from infecting other cats with FIV.
3. As FIV is an immunodeficiency virus I may be at risk of developing many different diseases. Regular 6-monthly veterinary checks are recommended for early detection of health problems.

- I'm desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.
