About Mishka - Located in Brunswick East
Meet Mishka, a charming boy who may be reserved at first, but once he realizes that head scratches and cuddles are on the table, he won't be able to resist spending time with you.
Mishka loves having a cozy spot to retreat to, like a cat cave or tree, where he can relax when he feels overwhelmed. But once he's comfortable, he won't hesitate to claim his spot on the couch.
If you're looking for a feline companion to snuggle up with and share your home, Mishka would be an ideal fit. He thrives in a peaceful environment and would enjoy spending his days lounging in a sunny window sill or cozy cat cave, eagerly awaiting your return for more cuddles and attention.
Mishka could easily be the only pet in the home, but he would also be happy to share space with a resident cat or dog, as long as they are properly introduced. With his affectionate and loyal nature, Mishka is sure to become your new best friend, keeping you warm at night and stealing your heart along with the occasional treat.

Medical notes
Mishka is a sweet boy looking for a loving home. While he has a potential low grade heart murmur, his veterinarians believe that it is likely caused by stress and may not be audible when he is relaxed. At present, it is not causing him any issues. The vets recommend checking his heart every 6-12 months during his routine health checks.
Adopting a cat with a heart condition can be a rewarding and fulfilling experience. Cats with heart conditions are often overlooked for adoption, but they can make wonderful companions just like any other cat. By adopting a cat with a heart condition, you are giving them a chance at a loving home and a good quality of life.
Furthermore, cats with heart conditions often require extra care and attention, which can provide an opportunity to form a special bond with your pet. It can also be a chance to learn more about feline health and become a more knowledgeable and responsible pet owner.
