Looking for a cuddly bear? Meet Baci!

This young working dog mix is a very sweet girl who has a lovely temperament. Baci loves affection and will literally melt when you give her pats and a cuddle. She is happy to say hello to everyone she meets and collect all the attention. Baci enjoys playtime and has fun with her toys. On the flip side, she is fairly chilled and knows how to lie down and relax when nothing is going on. She is an all-rounder who is going to be a great addition to her new family.

Baci has been living with other dogs while in foster care. She is very sociable and loves to play with her doggy friends. Her favourite games are bitey face rumbles and tug of war. Baci is good at adapting her play style with different sized dogs. She would love a home with another playful and friendly dog. Regardless, she will need ongoing socialisation with other friendly dogs, preferably in the form of playdates with known friends. Baci will also need daily exercise and mental stimulation to keep her healthy and happy throughout her life.

While in care, Baci has begun her basic training. She is food motivated and taken to training well. Baci already knows how to sit, drop (lie down) and walk well on a lead. She is progressing well with her toilet training, but this will need to be continued in her new home. Baci has been crate trained and will sleep throughout the night in her crate or wait in there when you go out for a short time. She travels well in the car as well and would love to join her new family on outings. As she is still a young pup, her owners will need to commit to continuing her training – it would be great for her to go to puppy school and group classes to build up her skills.

We are looking for a dog experienced home where Baci will be a part of the family and included in the daily activities. She will need a home with another playful and friendly dog, and/or where someone is home more often than not. Baci should be allowed inside to be with the family and will need a bed inside to sleep on at night. She will need a home with a yard to have fun in rather than a unit. Although, Baci hasn’t met any other species of animals yet, she is likely to be ok with proper introductions and guidance. In regards to children, she can be mouthy when excited so is better suited to older dog savvy children who can participate in her training. Baci is a very loveable pup who will bring a lot of joy and happiness to her new family.
