Dash – 2yo 10mths male miniature smooth Dachshund – b/t silver dapple ~ 9 kgs

My name is Dash and I am a very dashing handsome boy. 

I am shy and a bit fearful, so I need a home where I am going to feel safe and loved. I was very attached to my previous owner however he was not well; they did love me and I was very attached to them.  My family had 5 kids which to be truthful at times a couple of them have added to my stress levels. 

My biggest issue is my barking. I will require solid fencing around the house so I can’t see the neighbours (and any dogs) and ideally, I should not have a view of the front street. I am not suitable for apartment living. I’m not recommended for dog parks or dog-friendly cafes – I’m simply to reactive to other dogs and sometimes, other people. 

What I really love are everyday cuddles on the couch or – if allowed – the big bed. I am only young, and I am very affectionate, house trained and ready to meet my forever home. While I am crate trained, I would love the opportunity to share a bed with a human.  

And I won’t mind having a sister to play and sleep with as long as I have my human most of the time as I suffer from separation anxiety.
