BONNEY AND CLYDE - BONDED SIBLINGS - 1 YEAR 4 MONTH - DACHSHUND X BEAGLES - BONNEY - 9KG - CLYDE 12 KG - DOB - 16/08/21
**PLEASE NOTE: CLYDE HAS A VALGUS DEFORMITY TO HIS LEFT FRONT LEG, AND AS PART OF THE D2DR HEALTH VET POLICY please read:
Clyde has seen specialist surgeon Dr Ricky Cashmore at Geelong Animal Referral Services and is booked in for surgical procedure at D2DR's expense to straighten his leg, we require someone to either adopt or foster them whilst Clyde recovers from his surgery about 4 - 6 weeks and then he's as good as new: no physio is required, and he will be able to use his leg but will need to be rested.***We’re siblings that are very attached to one another.
We love falling asleep on soft fluffy blankets, and will often sleep cuddling one another. However as siblings do, we love to play fight and wrestle one another, it’s lots of fun!
We are both very affectionate and love cuddles. Love to be indoors and cuddle to all members of the family.
We will love playing and investigating in the backyard during the day, We would love to continue having some grass to play on and run around.
We also love walks and can’t get to the park quick enough. Being young, we are both still learning day by day, but we’re proud to say we are toilet trained, can sit, and are crate trained to sleep.
We are still learning not to jump, and not to pull on the lead, but we just get so excited sometimes we can’t help ourselves!
A little more about us; Bonnie - I’ve been called a very sweet girl. I’m also energetic, a little cheeky, and love attention. Sitting on the couch with my owners is one of my favourite things to do as well as soaking up the sun in the backyard.
Clyde - If I was one of the 7 dwarfs I would be Dopey. I love lazing around when I’m not playing with my sister. I do have a tendency to steal my sisters food, so supervision during meals is always helpful! I love humans and always want to sit close to them and give a kiss from time to time. I’m bigger than my sister, and being a mixed breed, I have a long dachshund back and the heavier weight of a beagle. So I do need a home that can provide ramps to ensure I don’t cause damage to my back.
