Dexter

This gorgeous boy is Dexter, and he is looking for a forever home, could that be with you?

Dexter came into our shelter through no fault of his own and is looking for a nice quiet home where he can come out of his shell in his own time. He can be a little unsure of handling, so his new pals will need to ensure they are going at his pace, are extremely patient and are willing to work on his confidence so that he can grow into his best self.

Due to the above, older dog savvy teens and adults would be best for Dexter, as children can be a bit overwhelming for him. He has been okay with his dog pals here at the shelter so he may be suitable to live with a confident dog who can show him the ropes in life, pending a successful first date here at the shelter of course.

We do not have any history of Dexter living with cats or pocket pets, so we're not sure how he would go living in a home with small animal pals.
