Where to start telling you about beautiful Pepper…
When we first met Pepper, she was a bit of a gangly adolescent. We’ve been privileged to be able to watch her mature into the beautiful adult dog that she is now. She has the glossiest black coat you’ve ever seen, she’s got beautiful muscle definition, prettiest eyes and is quite a fit girl.
Pepper always gives 100% to everything she does, whether that is training, playing with her doggy friends or smooching up to you affectionately. She loves playing with her toys and paddling in the dam. She is such a soft, sweet, sensitive girl.
Sadly for Pepper she has lived at kennels for quite a while now. She loves her life at the kennels and thinks we are her people. She thrives on the routine and the structure that kennel life style has provided her. For this reason Pepper will take a little while to get used to home life again. Pepper is looking for a family that is going to understand this. A family that is going to be kind and caring and give her the time she needs to settle in. They will understand that sometimes she gets a bit overwhelmed in new environments and are happy to take things slowly with her.
In return they will gain the most loyal, trusting, kind, caring dog you could ever hope to meet. One that is going to make them laugh when she gets her crazy zoomies on and is ready to have their hearts melted when she gazes up at them with those beautiful brown eyes of hers.
Pepper is best suited to a home with no children, she just can’t figure them out. She hasn’t been tested with cats and wouldn’t mind living with a calm older male.

Adoption details
Adoption Process
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial for cats and 3 week trial for dogs . We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
