About Miso
** IN foster care in STANMORE **
The first thing you notice about Miso is her colour - somewhere between both champagne gold and silver, she is truely an unusual beauty. That being said she is also a super sweet kitty who loves human's affection and will seek out your lap when she needs a good cuddle. Once she is settled down she will reward you with a deep satisfying purr. Affection is still on her terms, but she seeks it often, needing a daily dose of lap pats and sometimes will call out for you if she can't find you.
Miso is smart, so can be a little bit wary at times so she will suit a home with older children 10+. She is also excellent at reading human behaviour - cue running off the second you need to medicate her!
MY IDEAL HOME: Miso will thrive in a home with just adults or older children. She would be ok living with dog and cat friends or is independent enough to be an only cat so long as there are people to hang out with. She would like for you to be home more often than not as she is quite human focused.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Miso has usual kitten energy - she likes a big play in the mornings and evenings but snoozes most of the day. She loves her 'da bird' wand toy and the laser pointer but is especially fond of the little mice that rattle as you thrown them for her.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Miso is a touch wary of things she is unsure about and is best suited to older children (10+) who are happy to let miso come to them on her own terms.
MY SUITABILITY TO OTHER CATS AND DOGS: Miso currently lives with her kitten siblings, an older foster cat sister and a small quiet dog. While she does enjoy playing with the other cats, she is pretty independent and could live in a home with or without a kitty friend. She is indifferent to the dog so long as it isn't too invasive into her space.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
