ADOPTION GUIDELINES
QUIET HOUSEHOLD - SECURE YARD - HOME ALONE TRAINING REQ'D - WOULD SUIT A OLDER RETIRED COUPLE
Presently, sweet Trixie is very timid. Sadly, Trixie has just lost her elderly owners as they could no longer care for her, and she will take a while to adjust to this traumatic change.
So currently we are seeing a very underconfident, timid dog BUT if you can give her the time and space she will need to settle, she will soon become a gentle loving little lap dog. Trixie is used to having people around during the day so we are looking for someone who might be retired or possibly works from home.
She appears to be spectacularly well-bred - Trixie has been a prize-winning show dog in her past and show dog awards include 'Best in Breed and also "Champion" with the ANKC We have all her paperwork to back up her accreditation.
According to the family members Trixie is crate trained, toilet trained and loves nothing better than snuggling up with her people.
*Please note that this animal holds a premium adoption fee. Adoption fees contribute to RSPCA ACT operational costs and helps us look after and enrich the lives of other animals in our care that may not find their forever homes as readily. Premium adoption fees are applied based on a number of contributing factors, including but not limited to: individual pet characteristics, behaviour profile, care requirements, registration status, free market principles.
The adoption fee for TRIXIE is $1295.00 which helps to cover the cost of mandatory de-sexing, vaccinations, microchip and a lot of care from the RSPCA crew. Who says you can't buy love?!
