About Nicky and Zara
Nicky and Zara are sisters that urgently need a new home as their owner has to go interstate for work and is unable to take them with them.
They are small girls, weighing approximately 22 kilos each. They have been very much loved family members and must have inclusion in the home.
Both have good obedience, are fully house trained, social around people and are very affectionate. Nicky is the more confident of the two and Zara is a snuggle bunny with her humans. Both are inseparable and will not be homed separately.
Nicky and Zara are social with other dogs and are currently living with a cat and toddler.
Being long coated dogs they will need an owner that is confident to maintain their long coats with regular brushing or a good groomer.
If you understand the nature of the German Shepherd, have recently owned this breed, and are looking for companion dog then please consider this pair.
If you live in Queensland or Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive to Sydney with your family to meet them. If for any reason they don't fit with your family you will be responsible for bringing them back to Sydney or helping us to rehome from your home.
If you are interested in giving Nicky and Zara a new home, please select the "Enquire about Nicky and Zara", and we will send you our application form.
Medical notes
Nicky and Zara are microchipped and vaccinated and will be desexed as soon as we can an appointment with our vets.

Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
