Hi my name is Rusty and I am a super adorable smart and loveable Wolfhound x looking for my forever home.
The stunning little Rusty will just melt your heart with her amazing colors and outgoing and confident personality
She has the most adorable face and eyes. Being in a home with 5 siblings she is quite outgoing and ceetainly a happy and loving little girl

Baby Rustys Mum we know is a Wolfhound x of Med size and her Daddy is either a Golden Retriever or aRed Heeler !! The ranger from the pound was informed both of these breeds had a playdate with mummy !!!!!!!
Currently weighing in at 5 kilos,she one of the smallest we expect her to grow to a larger med size girl

Food
Rusty is currently eating three meals a day consisting of premium puppy dry food and either cooked chicken or rice.She loves her food and when you are preparing her meals she will come running. She would also benefit from a slow feeder. We are using Smacko’s for treats and training.
Sleeping
Rusty loves sleeping with her 3 brothers and 2 sisters in a covered crate. She sleeps through the night and normally goes to bed around 10pm and will not wake until about 7 am. During the day she will snuggle up with one of her siblings on a mat or in a dog bed at the back door.
Toileting/Training/walking
Rusty y is continuing to learn about toilet training and has access to the garden at night and both garden and grassed area during the day. On occasions she has had an accident inside if she has been too long inside, but will mostly go outside. In her new home we would expect her to have a few accidents until he is used to her new surroundings and finds her spot . It will be important for you to encourage her to go outside once she wakes up from sleeping or taking a nap.
Rusty will take food gently from your hand. It will be important that she goes to puppy school to further his training.
Due to her age and not being fully vaccinated Hurley has not had any practice being on a lead. She has been wearing a collar and is not fussed about having it on. She will need ongoing use of the lead and would benefit from learning from other dogs. We also take her out the back with a semi see through fence to get used to seeing new things like cars driving past and people/dogs out walking. Once Hurley is old enough and fully vaccinated it will be important that she is taken for a daily walk.
Exercise/toys
She loves exploring in the house and outside in the garden. She can be seen with his siblings in the garden playing hide and seek and is one of the first to start a play fight. She enjoys wrestling with her siblings. You will normally find him outside in the garden playing with his toys and siblings. Hurley is learning about tug of war and he is starting to dig wanting to find hidden treasures. During the hot weather she has access to a small shell pool and will happily climb in and play in the water.
Rusty iis currently living in a home with 2 adults and 2 older teenagers, which she adores. Hurley has also been around other people and is very friendly, however he has puppy teeth and so a home with older children would be better suited.
Dogs/Cats
She has not been with cats but young enough to learn
She is currently residing with 2 older jack russells and her siblings
Rusty has had a few baths and is not fussed by the water at all. She has also been dipped on hot days and is happy to be cooled down. She is given treats during the bath to learn it is ok to have a spa treatment.
IDEAL HOME
If I could have my wish for my new home I would love the following
Children - I would love to have some children if possible who are gentle and kind and loving but mature enure to know I need lots of un interrupted nap time while of grow and who won't drop me so over 5 would be nice
We recommend children in the home to have prior dog / puppy exposure before your family applies for a young puppy s puppies teeth and have sharp little teeth
I would love a secure backyard that has grass for me to play in with shelter and shade and room for me to run so no little units or tiny terrace yards
I would be fine with cats as I'm young enough to learn
I would love a BFF doggy friend if possible that is a MALE and of medium size and up who is kind and loving and would be ok with the usual puppy chewing and playful behavior. .He must be desexed and well socialized with other dogs
I would love a home that my new family are willing to train me and not just have me as a back yard ornament and who will treat me as a part of the family
A home with a family that have dog experience is essential as puppies are hard work and require lots of time and devotion to ensure they become the best dogs they can be
