Hi, I'm Bear! Could you be my forever family?

I am seeking a home with a large yard, as I am an active guy and need a lot of space. I love daily walks, playing fetch and settling on the couch at the end of the day.

Being a young Kelpie x Border Collie, I am a very smart, very active boy. I'd love my family to be committed to my ongoing training, enrichment and exercise requirements. I am not the type of dog to be left in the yard or to go a day without a big walk (I'll need at least 5km minimum!), as I become bored very quickly.

I'd be best in a family with an energetic, playful and tolerant female dog to keep me company. I can be a bit shy when first meeting dogs, so I'm not looking to be a dog-park dog.

I can be very excitable so I am looking for a home without younger children.

I am waiting patiently in the shelter and am ready to be adopted and meet my new family!

This helps us find a great match for the pets in our care.
We are a small team & are trying our best to be fair to all applicants while creating the best outcomes for our animals. We do not take applications over the phone. We will aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days & will confirm with all applicants once we have an adoption meet booked for the animal. The majority of our animals are in foster homes, not at the shelter, so you need to apply to meet them.
