This handsome big bundle of floof is Barry. As the result of a marriage break-up, Barry was abandoned and left sad and confused at a country shelter. Silver Lining saved this gorgeous boy from his fate and brought him into foster care on the Sunshine Coast and is currently with new carer at Nanango
Since arriving, Barry has had his vaccinations updated and his 'manly bits' removed, and has quickly shown himself to be a healthy young lad who will be a wonderful companion for a loving family.
Barry loves sitting at the glass door or windows and watching the wildlife, but for much of the day is also happy just lying around and being magnificent. He gets on ok with his kitty foster siblings (as long as they let him think he's the boss), but is untried with dogs.
He also loves his wet food at night – and is very vocal and chatty to let you know when he thinks it's dinner time (which may be any time you go into the kitchen LOL).
We estimate Barry to be around 3 years old – so he still has a lot of years of love and boofy headbutts to give.

Adoption Process
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial for cats and 3 week trial for dogs . We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
