About Chippy
Please only apply for this greyhound if you have:
- Home more than not
- Children over 5 years
The first thing l loved about Chippy was her delicate white eyebrows and happy nature. She is very loving and sociable with people - loves a pat and shows her appreciation with her cute chattering or a snuggle.
Chippy is known to give a little snort when she is excited, especially at meal times. She is not a fussy eater and so far has not rejected anything. She has lovely house manners and will not get up on couches, chairs or beds. But if you luv a dog on your couch - we are sure she would most happily join you!
She sleeps all night. She is currently being fostered with another female greyhound and she doesn't resource guard food, bed or toys. She doesn't even mind having her nails clipped, teeth cleaned or being brushed. Most cars she can jump into or out of and she travels nice and quietly.
On her walks she is very confident, she does need a firm hand as she can become quite enthusiastic about new experiences. She is starting to understand small dogs, but can react to some, not all.
Chippy would make a great family pet, with someone around most days would suit her best.
Children would be fine, as long as they are respectful of her.
[Note: Under Victorian Law greyhounds must be on-leash at all times in public areas, including in off-leash parks or ovals]
