Hilde

Hilde is a beautiful and energetic 1 year old German Shorthaired Pointer mix looking for her forever home. She was found as a stray and has come a very long way in learning how to be a polite dog around the house. She knows ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘drop’ and to wait for her dinner. Despite being found on the streets she has never had an accident inside.

Hilde is looking for someone who will take her on regular walks every day and give her lots of love and attention. She is very affectionate and loves a cuddle on the couch but is also a goofball who to run around the backyard for hours. She doesn’t like to be left alone for long periods of time, and will get a bit crazy if she is cooped up for too long.

Hilde loves playing with other dogs but can be a bit too excited at first. A household with a similar sized dog would be ideal.

She likes to chase birds and possums in the evening and has a strong prey drive, so is not suitable for a house with cats.

Hilde is extremely smart, but still needs some training to walk nicely on the lead. Being a very intelligent dog, she can get bored easily and will start to act silly and forget her manners. But with lots of attention, love and clear boundaries she will be an awesome side kick!
