About Wesley
A message from Wesley
‘Hi future best friends! I’m Wesley and I’m here to steal your couches, your carrots, and your hearts. I’m a cheeky soul with a passion for hanging out with my human and doggy pals. I love nothing better than snoozing the day away, as long as my humans are near-by. I have been unfairly branded a food thief by my foster carers, but we all know that anything left lying around is simply fair game! The best part of my day is going out for a stroll with my humans. Sometimes their punctuality isn’t great, so I remind them it’s time to go by bringing them all of my toys one by one. I would love to live in a home where my family are home more often than not, and I might even like the idea of having a doggy sibling to keep me company.’
About Wesley
Wesley is a five-year-old boy who has been in foster care since October. In his time with his carers, he has learnt that he loves any and all soft surfaces – say goodbye to your couch now, playing with his toys and spending time with his human companions. Because Wes is so fond of his foster carers, he does struggle with being left alone. His forever family will ideally work from home and be able to slowly support him to be able to spend longer periods of time alone.
During his time in foster care Wes has shown a love of other dogs. He is able to greet other dogs politely while on lead and has enjoyed spending time with Molly the German Pointer, who belongs to one of his carer’s relatives. We think that Wes would do well in a home with another large breed dog.
Wes can be cheeky, his manners around human food are not so well practiced and he will swipe any food that is left out and unattended. His new home will need to be aware of this and ensure that food is stored securely and out of Wes’s reach. Despite being a bit food obsessed, Wes has been practicing his table manners while the humans are eating. He is able to lay down and relax while everyone eats rather than hanging around the table.
Wes is currently living in an apartment and is fully toilet trained. He can go up and downstairs, but does require some encouragement with this occasionally.
If you think you that Wesley’s forever home is with you please don't hesitate to get in touch.
