Hi, I’m Lexi.
If you’re looking for a gentle, sweet companion then I’m your girl. I have had to mature very quickly in the past due to having babies of my own, but I’m ready to reclaim my life and be the centre of someone’s attention. At the moment, my gentle nature may stem from my timidity. I can be fearful of new people but after some yummy treats and reassurance it doesn’t take long for me to warm up.
I would love to be in a home that is mostly calm and quiet, where I can relax and enjoy my new life. I’d be happy to meet older, mature children who have been around dogs before and will recognise when I need space. I don’t think I’ve ever seen inside a home before, can you show me? Maybe there’s a comfy spot by your feet near the lounge that I can slot into.
I’d be open to meet another gentle, calm dog like myself, so if you have one at home, let’s make a date. I would love a yard to stretch my legs and do my business but I don’t require a lot of space. I like going for a relaxing walk before coming home for a nap. I walk nicely on lead too! Sometimes cars and busy roads can spook me so it’s best if we walk in a quiet area on a secure collar, harness and lead.
I don’t know any commands and can be a little sensitive to loud booming noises, so a gentle voice and trainer would be best. I may be a great candidate for great training or something similar. My confidence needs a bit of work, and if gradual exposure training at home isn’t progressing, I might need some extra help from a professional trainer.
I’m a super cuddly and affectionate girl who would would love nothing more than to be part of family, so apply below if you’re interested!
