How are you? My names Heart and I’m here to steal your…you guessed it….Heart!
I’m a three year old heart throb Bull Terrier cross and I know you’re searching for a guy like me to complete your family. I could even live with another doggo!
If you are keen to ensure I feel like a part of your family then I’m the guy for you, scroll no further!
I may be three years old but sometimes I still act like a puppy, I’m excited to meet some kids but because I’m still in training not to jump for attention, they should be over 10 years old please. I’d love to be inside when it’s cold and cuddle up to my chosen people. A house with a yard is what I desire most, and because I’m strong and agile, suitable fencing is the best for me. I’m confident, independent and super friendly.
I have met some other dogs here at the ACF and feel like they’re pretty cool. If you have a dog that’s friendly with others, bring them in to meet me and let’s see how we get on.
I’d be almost completely perfect with an owner that wanted to continue my training, even if that’s just teaching me not to jump up. I’m a puppy at heart and overly communicate with my mouth. I love attention but am also able to be self-sufficient and independent as long as I have things to keep me stimulated - I'd be fine with full time workers.
I’m affectionate and sweet, and love playing fetch with a tennis ball. If you’re looking for a way to tire me and the kids out, apply for me today so we can meet face to face!
Medical notes
When one of our pets finds a new home, our team then book into the Council's contracted vet for them to be desexed (the next business day typically). We will transport your new furry family member to our vet for desexing in the morning. In the afternoon, you can then collect your furry friend from the vet following their procedure.
Adoption details
Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
