About Tyson 34821
Hi, I’m Tyson!
If you’re looking for a cuddly, older gent, look no further! I am very social with people and enjoy receiving pats from everybody. My favourite thing is leaning against you until I fall onto my back for a belly rub. I can be stubborn and needy but it’s okay because I’m cute.
I would be suited to any household, whether it be loud or quiet. I adore going on daily to walks to sniff around and find new trees to wee on. Mostly I walk nicely on lead but can be quite strong, and I tend to tire after 30 minutes so our walks don’t need to be strenuous. I know my name and will always come when I’m called. I’d love to be able to come inside and be with my family sometimes too. I loooove cuddling!
I have met other dogs while in the shelter and have proved that I’m a bit intense around them, so it would be best if I’m the only dog at home for now. I may need some extra training when out and about to react more nicely around other dogs so that everyone is more comfortable. I’d love to have free access to a yard where I can sunbake and roll around on the grass, provided the fencing is tall and secure.
I can become a little anxious when I’m left alone for long periods of time, so it would be great if someone were home part-time to take care of me. It may be beneficial to crate train me as well. Due to my general chilled out nature, I’d be open to meet children of any age, so bring them in to meet me before we all go home together.

Medical notes
When one of our pets finds a new home, our team then book into the Council's contracted vet for them to be desexed (the next business day typically). We will transport your new furry family member to our vet for desexing in the morning. In the afternoon, you can then collect your furry friend from the vet following their procedure.
Adoption details
**All pets' adoption fees are half-price during March**
Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
