Hi there, I'm Stella!

You might know of another Aussie Stella - she who wrote the publishing sensation My Brilliant Career at a young age. Well, I can't manage the writing, but I certainly live up to the name by being both brilliant and (relatively) young!

I'm a strong, independent woman and I'm sure there's no limit to what I can learn! My latest talents include sitting, spinning and giving high fives. And while there's so much more to life than one's looks, I do have to admit I'm pretty cute, too.

I'm currently in a home environment so will adapt well to being a pet when I find my forever home. My foster family adore me and are impressed by how clever I am.
I'm super friendly, walk well on a leash and will bring loads of fun to your life.

I'd be a great addition to a home with kids aged over five. I get on well with dogs of all sizes, but I'm probably best homed as an only dog, as I tend to be a little protective of my things.

I have a little eye condition (pannus and an ulcer), so will need you to give me some ongoing eye medication. No big deal.

Our matchmakers go to greyt lengths to match each hound with the right family to make sure everyone's happy, and you'll become part of a wonderful rescue community with lots of support along the way!

All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and heartworm tested/treated. The adoption fee also includes our New Adopter Kit - collar, leash, muzzle and loads of other goodies to help you get your new hound settled into the family.
