About Neera
Neera is an incredibly social and affectionate young dog who loves everyone and everything. She has quite a chilled personality and is easy going. Miss social butterfly loves to meet new people and get lots of pats – she even loves the belly rubs! Neera loves nothing more than some cuddle time with her people and to snuggle up with you in the evenings. She is also an inquisitive girl who enjoys getting out and about so that she can investigate and sniff all the smells. Playtime is always fun, and she loves her toys. This sweet and happy dog is sure to brighten up the life of her new family.
While in care, Neera has met a range of other dogs, big and small. She is gentle and sweet to smaller dogs, and then loves a good game with the bigger dogs. Her sociability definitely extends to having many doggy pals and she loves their company. Neera would love a home with another playful doggy friend. Regardless of this, she will require ongoing socialisation with other known friendly dogs throughout her life. She would thrive with some play dates and meet ups with her friends. Neera will require a good bit of daily exercise to keep her happy and healthy throughout her life.
Neera is an intelligent dog and she has progressed quickly with her basic training. She has mastered sit and will do a nice stay (as long as there are not too many distractions) and is working on her leash manners, down, drop and going to her bed on command. This girl’s brain really thrives on being stimulated with training activities and puzzle toys, etc. Neera is crate trained and sleeps through the night. She also travels well in the car, as long as she hasn’t just eaten a meal, and has done well with her toilet training in her foster home.
We are looking for a dog experienced home where Neera will be included as part of the family. She will need a home with another playful dog and/or where someone is home most of the time. Neera is still learning not to jump up when she’s excited to greet new people, so she is best suited to older dog savvy children. While in foster care, Neera has been exposed to some livestock and chickens. She is expected to be fine to live with other animals with the appropriate introductions and guidance; however, she is untested with cats. Neera is ready to share her sweet and loving nature with her new family and is bound to bring a lot of joy.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
