About DJ - 10 Week Old American Bulldog (On Trial)
This ball of cuteness is 10 weeks old and just adorable.
He was 1 of 9 that came into care and was one of the smaller ones BUT not by much. He is currently around the 10kg mark and has been with 2 of his brothers from the same litter up until they went on trial a short time ago.
He is the most gorgeous little man, currently trying to play with our elderly cattle dog but she would rather just sleep and say “ I’m too old for this “
DJ is a beautiful little man and would love a home with a family who has the time he needs to play, explore and teach him about all the fun things in life for a dog
He is going to be a large boy when fully grown, we also have his mum in care and she is a big beautiful girl,
so good fences is a must, preferably with children primary school age and above
He loves to play and run but also being a bulldog needs to be monitored, especially in the hot weather not to over do things.
He will need a family that are home more so than not, and someone wanting and willing to take him to puppy preschool and do some wonderful training and socialising with him.
He would also love a fur brother or sister as long as they are dog friendly as he can get a-little scared with any dog that is over the top, but as long as they love him, he will love them back .
DJ is very special and would love to find a home full of love for him.
Their adoption fee is $1000 and covers vaccination, micro chipping, worming and desexing.

DJ is currently in foster care in Salt Ash, NSW. As DJ is not yet desexed he is only available for adoption in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens and Central Coast because he will need to be returned to DRN approved vet for desexing when he is approximately 5/6 months old. Please NO out of area applications.

PLEASE NOTE: When applying for our dogs and puppies, please ensure to list the name of the dog you wish to adopt. Please do NOT just list the reference number or the microchip number as this will delay your application reaching the correct foster carer.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family
member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
