Duke - 8 Week Old American Bulldog X (On Trial)

Duke, or Dukey as we call him, is 1 of 3 in care together and came from a litter of 9.

A mix of playful and the onlooker.... and then sometimes Duke can be a sook and just want to be with you for cuddles. Handsome, cute and adorable.

Bulldogs are known to be affectionate and dependable, with a gentle disposition, and generally make great family dogs. They need a low to medium amount of exercise; some can be more chilled and relaxed then others and due to their face shape (brachycephalic) you need to be mindful and careful with over exercising and overheating.

- Will require a confident owner willing to spend time to train and socialize
- Is likely to grow to be a solid medium size dog and quite strong
- Ideally their new owner or family would work from home, or be home more often than not
- Require good fencing above 5 feet minimum
- Have access to Shelter, Shade and Water when outside
- Would be better suited to children a little bit older due to how solid and strong they can grow to be and also children that understand how to interact with dogs
- Will need to and is a must to be returned to a DRN approved vet at around 5 months of age for desexing

Bulldogs are a gorgeous cuddle bundle that may drool and snore but make up for it with their love and companionship.

Their adoption fee is $1000 and covers vaccination, micro chipping, worming and desexing.

Duke is currently in foster care in Salt Ash, NSW. As Duke is not yet desexed he is only available for adoption in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens and Central Coast because he will need to be returned to DRN approved vet for desexing when he is approximately 5/6 months old. Please NO out of area applications.
