About Rosie
In her last life, ROSIE wasn't a dog. She was an internationally acclaimed catwalk model. It's obvious from the photos, don't you think? She knows all the moves, all the poses and the camera loves her.
When we asked Rosie's foster dad, David, to tell us about Rosie, this is what he had to say:
"Rosie hasn't put a foot wrong since she came to live with me. She's a treasure and a delight to have around. She has a temperament as sweet as her looks and loves a cuddle.
"She gets on very well with the other dogs, walks nicely on the lead, is completely house-trained and sleeps through the night.
"She's a quiet girl who just loves being around her favourite human, which at the moment, is me! I know I sound biased, but she's a bonza little dog. Clever, too. She knows her basic commands and has good recall."
Rosie is young Dalmatian cross who came into care with three pups in tow. Her maternal duties done and dusted, she's now looking for a furever home of her own.
She weighs just 20 kgs.
To be happy and content, Rosie will need daily exercise and play, which may be more achievable if she shares her home with a compatible dog. As always, secure fencing is a must, although once Rosie has bonded with you, she won't leave your side.
Preference will be given to homes where someone is around most of the time and, although not essential, there is another dog for Rosie to play with. Rosie is not available to full-time workers.
If you are interested in meeting this lovely girl and can offer her a suitable, safe and loving forever home, PLEASE COMPLETE THE ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
Rosie's adoption fee is $450. She is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped.
She is available for interstate adoption.
