About Harvey **2nd Chance Cat Rescue**
MY PROFILE
Once upon a time a tabby boy named Harvey had the angriest eyes I'd ever seen, his frown made even the bravest people fear him. But...not for long.
Finally Harvey is experiencing his happily ever after. After only two days of solid work and love he came around to be the most loving and kind cat you could possibly meet. He now looks at everyone and everything in the world with curiosity and purrs. Affection at all times is a must!
He insists on leaning against you no matter where you are in the house. If you're napping he will either be beside you or sleeping soundly on your chest. Harvey is the most placid cat I have ever met, every cat he meets he greets with a happy trill and nothing but playfulness.
He also LOVES toys! Mostly mice and things that crinkle but almost anything you give him. His scratcher is also a favourite. This little man is ready to find his forever home and show the world how incredible he is.
Harvey is FIV Positive (+) which isn't as scary as it sounds. They can live normal, healthy and long lives with appropriate precautions and lifestyles. They are more prone to infection with immune systems that aren't quite a crash hot so should be indoor cats. FIV is most commonly spread by deep bite wounds. FIV-positive cats can live with other cats with careful thought and we are happy to chat about this. Harvey is best buddies with Michaelangelo and no love fest between these two is likely to risk transmission!

All 2nd Chance Cat Rescue cats are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated and come with a take home pack. We transfer the change of Ownership free of charge into your name.

ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE
We ask that you complete an Adoption Questionnaire before we make arrangements for you to meet a cat or kitten. This is to ensure that we find the best possible match for you and the cats/kittens in our care.
PROCEDURE
1. Go to our website www.2ndchancecatrescue.com.au and go to our adopting page.
2. You can complete the online application by following http://www.2ndchancecatrescue.com.au/adopting/adoption-form
3. Or you can download the document and email back via 2ndchancecatrescuevic@gmail.com
4. If your application is successful, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet.
Please note that the adoption fee as stated on the cat's profile is required on the day of adoption and we only accept cash.

2nd Chance Cat Rescue is a home-based rescue group and most of our volunteers are working full-time so we hope that you understand that it may take 1-2 days to get back to you.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
