About Benji
**In foster care in DRUMMOYNE**
Benjamin 'Benji' Button is a sassy shadow full of youthful energy! After being found with his mum and four siblings behind a school, he's settled right into the easy life - spending his days playing with everyone he meets (human and feline alike). He wears his heart on his sleeve and does not hold back in showing affection.
A bouncy and smart kitten, Benji loves having human and feline companionship. He will follow you as you move from room to room, circling your ankles and never straying far. He adjusts very well to changes in environment and meeting new people. He does this so well that the vet has allowed him to explore his consultation room and meet anyone when he's there.
His hidden talent is his ability to coo like a pigeon. Benji likes having occasional conversations with his human and will speak in pigeon sounds. It's the most adorable thing!
Like all Maggie's pets, Benji is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: Is with someone who will be home more often than not, and is interested to engage in a lot of play sessions with me. I would love it if you have a kitten around my age who could be there for me when you're not.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: High! I'm still in my crazy kitten era. I'm not fussy with toys, I just love having someone to play with.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Older kids who are patient and respectful but can keep up with me would be amazing! I might not suit children under school age as I sometimes gently play bite when I get really excited.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I love other cats, but if they are not as playful they may find my playfulness annoying. But if you have a resident kitten who wants to play with you a lot more than you can keep up, I am the answer to your prayer and I might be able to help you out with that! :)
Though I haven’t met any dogs yet, I think I'd enjoy having a high-energy dog or two as my play buddies.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
