About Henry
I am trying a new home to see if i like it. Henry's story is a sad one. Henry was originally brought from a breeder by a family who went on holidays overseas, left henry with a friend, then came back from overseas and didn't want henry anymore. The friend tried to take care of henry but, as he had no experience with a dog like henry, he left him outside tied up! henry was very unhappy as he had previously been an inside dog and slept on one of the children's beds. It was horrible for him to now be outside tied up and unwanted so the friend contacted his owner who agreed to surrender henry for rehoming. This is where henry's new life begins and we will rehome him where he is going to be an inside dog, taken to training, walked everyday and loved for the wonderful dog that he is. Henry's new home should be with a family who know the golden retriever breed as they are wonderful dogs with big hearts and lovely temperaments. He will be suited to a home with children over 8 years as he is a bigger dog and he would love another dog his size for company. Henry gets along well with pocket pets, cats, humans and other dogs. He is housetrained, not noisy, sits, drops, heels and walks very well on lead. His foster carer who has trained dogs for many years thinks he is just an all round great dog. Henry must have access to the house, sleep inside and be another member of the family. Henry comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $400 and is not available for adoption outside nsw.
